Sorry about the down time here, I am going through complete server replacements and migrations, I expect that everything will be back to normal in the next few weeks.

In keeping true to those lost, I am suggesting that we all take a moment to remember a fellow artist and true friend; Marty Lemmons, may he rest in peace.

It’s interesting, not moving in my normal circles, the neverending spirals of problems I am normally submersed in seem so irrelevant. I could get used to this.

Sorry for the lack of info as of late, I am reworking some rather dence code on my swbserver engine, and it’s taking me longer then I thought. With any luck I will able to get things back on track shortly.

I finally got all the code and data reworked, the migrations have been finished, so I guess it’s time to let everyone know www.themadhatcher.com is online and at 100%!

Back once again!

Sorry for the gap in updates but it has been utter chaos at work lately, im in the process of an office change, and I had to change ISP’s. But everything is back up and running once again, expect new content and updates per my usual schedule.

DO check out my blog, I am fixing to post some brand new content that I find quite impressive.

I am going to post several new renders before this happens, but due to some “changes” around my house I will be disconnecting my internet connection for several weeks. Don’t worry it will be back online after I sort out some things, I just don’t need the distraction at home right now.

Just want to give everyone a heads up, over the next few weeks I will be relocating the site to a new domain!

Anyhow, I have almost finished retrofitting my studio for x64 operation under 3DSMax 2009 and Adobe’s CS4 line. Soooooooooo expect to see new content anytime now!

To conclude the thought started in my last post here is an image of the running internal $9.00 hydrodynamicly cooled thermocoupled system core… (needed an excuse to use those words)

Last week my giant constant work-in-progress computer blew a coolant fitting and turfed hard. Over the weekend I was compairing the costs to rebuild the rig with parts from standard “edge computing” resources and came up with a damage ticket of near $500… Being the holidays the finances were simply unavailable. I spent the rest of the weekend brainstorming and hammering out some rather optimistic designs and this is what I came up with.

That is a hydrodynamic cooler lashed to a thermal peltier junction thermocoupler made from parts I found in boxes around my shop. The total cost was around $15 including the peltier junction (aquired from ebay). Now look at those core temps!

Well the code is pretty much finished (bar the usual tweaking) for the Bike-Ism  website!
